Thats your choice not mine ,im big enough to fight my own.I find it weird how many ph have a thing about hackneys.I really dont bother the other way round. Weve all got a job to do.But when someone wants to criticise or make comments about what i do for a job everyday there going to get it back.Especially people who drive a cab and think deristriction is the way forward,there in fecking cuckoo land !

Don't fink so. I mean, what about this from a Halcrow report:

"Blackpool has maintained a policy of entry control to its hackney carriage market at a level of 256 since 1948."

So how you get the idea that the HC trade is living in the past - and that this has encouraged PH growth - is beyond me

But perhaps they should have added that some of them are still using the same vehicles since the place was capped

Was that for my benefit ? Theres plenty of times i dont go out of town,whats the big deal about that ? You should be thankfull of my castoffs as usually say ring a ph !

The odd thing about this forum is how many people are for deristriction(taxi drivers asswell !)and everyone seems to be a expert on someone elses licensing area !
