Maybe you would sit around and talk, but how many of the London taxi associations would give you the time of day?

Same throughout the country, people want to discuss the things they will never agree on rather than the things they could.

Also, as has been alluded too, the egos of many association heads, be they taxi or PH, are far too big. They will never entertain being wrong.

Hats off to anyone that trys, and we must all start somewhere, but if TDO is anything to go by, then it just wont happen. :-s

Not wrong, and the evidence you can see with your own eyes, long out where the trade is now and ask why

MR T Dont understand your comment,I beleive the trade is in its current position because of lack of organisation,Sussex have no doubt that representation will polarise, but surely 2 or 3 orgs are better than non or 300 bankrupt ineffectual orgs as present, why negativity.why not try, thats all we sayTRY.BE POSITIVE obviously the present situation is intollerable or is anyone happy at the moment.

Look I hope I'm wrong, and maybe this Road Safety Bill could be a start, and all the unions/association could mob together and get rid of the un-licensed exemptions.

But a pound to a penny when it does go, all the unions/association will be telling anyone that listens to them that they did it. Not that a united trade did it. :?

You mean help our opposition? Why would we do that?

The less opposition, from whichever camp you sit in, is good news for workloads and earning capacity.

I think given Terrence's rants and attacks on individuals, few people in the Minicab trade would sit down for talks either.

Especially one Mr John Griffen.

You make my point about the trade not getting together far better than I ever could.

The trade wouldn't ever get together because of the inherent hatred clearly displayed by members on here.

People need to accept the fact that other people have valid and equal views, and the belief that one side is somehow better than the other is the reason such groups will struggle to succeed.
