I'm delighted and sad  Colin Keir will be a brilliant MSP but what a loss to our council and trade

How can a scumbag possibly make a good MSP.

Anyway, isn't "good msp" a contradictiuon in terms?

BTW How's Megrahgi doing?

Should we be having a public inquiry into macca's financial affairs?

The SNP have shown that they will listen to taxis drivers , in Dundee they have shown that common sense can prevail. Not only have the listened to the taxi drivers they have listened to the Disabled, elderly and infirm.A cap is inevitable and when the small details of a mixed fleet are ironed out then maybe the trade will recover. :D

Bet your happy with the result.

The electorate (no matter how many turned out) have spoken.

Aye, 25% of the electorate vote for an MSP and that's democracy?

How much more bewildered can the bewildered herd possibly become?

Don't mind being a Numpty if it gets me a result :D

I do remember Kenny telling me that an alteration or amendment to the CGSA could be done but did at the time say such would be time consuming, With an overall Majority though and the will of our Trade i think we have a real chance of changing The CGSA to stem the saturation of our trade by phc profiteers

You do agree the SNP now have the Mandate to reform the CGSA

Any chance they will do something about people who pretend to be self employed so their employers can avoid paying the minimum wage and leave the rest of us making up the difference in tax credits?

From next week's Licensing meeting agenda

(b) APPROVED LIST OF ACCESSIBLE VEHICLES - ADDITION TO LIST
It is reported that the Citreon Berlingo presented by Taxi Centre, Paisley has been assessed by the
Plant & Vehicle Officer and that having received the appropriate certificate, he would recommend that
this vehicle be added to the list of low volume accessible vehicles.

So much for your SNP Administration and activists...They and the DTA..(Destroy Taxi-ing Association) after refusing option one, have clearly showed their vision for the future of the Trade in Dundee ! what a farce ! From April 2005, anyone granted a Licence was to present an M1 spec vehicle now, answer me this ? how can this Administration do such a u-turn without contemplating the possibility of court action from those Licensed from 2005 till present ?
Also, the Destroy Taxi-ing Association along with Unite Union, are (after spending some the Trade's coffers on The Transport Commissioner) about to cost the Trade even more for a QC to represent DCC in the forthcoming (i want a saloon plate cause i'm disabled due to my own fault) Mathew's case ! and let's not forget the 19 Licences that have been granted from the March Meeting till present !! So tell me ?? what have the SNP done for The City of Dundee or the Taxi Trade within ?

My answer..Zero..apart from halt progress in the Trade and stay top of the unemployment league in Scotland because they ain't never attracted any serious investors to the City.

Vote SNP...Guaranteed to F**k Dundee !!!

John what you worried about these vehicles will cost more than you paid for your v reg tx.
Also as you do not live in Dundee i suggest you take your complaint to your own SNP MSP in Perth and Kinross . :)

But will they last as long

So that's your defence for the SNP and it's contributions to Dundee ?

Well ! at least i drive my own and not a profiteers eh ? and i contribute to the Trade and the system, unlike some who think the system is there to provide them with freebies whilst, putting zero in and taking as much out ! then having the audacity to ensure the status quo remains in order to retain the said above whilst others who invest suffer. [-X

Once again.....all fact.

And what's that got to do with it ? how many of your heroes live in Dundee ?

Q. If DCC implemented an all WAV policy, would you still be kissing the SNP's ass ?? methinks not....now go and do some simple arithmetic and answer the following questions...

1. How many licences will have to be issued to save Tony's cronies money ? even though they're losing money ?

2. How many 10p's will it take to recoup all the 20p's lost waiting to be granted 10p ?

3. How many hired plates in Dundee are represented by The Destroy taxi-ing Association ?

4. How many DTA/Unite members voted SNP ?
