we have just increased our fares to 2.50 for the first mile , i think its the best thing thats ever happened within out firm,, somedays you are ferrying hires all day for 2 pounds or so, this way an average short run will cost about 3-50 -4 pounds and make it that more worthwhile,,lol. Needless to say with some drivers this has not come as good news as the radio dues have increased also by 12 pounds. |

So for every hire you get an extra 50p. At an average of 100 hires per week you get and extra £50. Take off the radio increase and your still £38 better off. Not bad at all. |
