The job was to Red Sands Fort ( http://www.bobleroi.co.uk/ScrapBook/Red ... 03Pt1.html ) 6 miles off the north Kent coast as part of his plans to move the noise and pollution from west London and home counties west to the people of south Essex and north Kent. |

Not quite as picturesque as the bungalows on stilts I'm use to Quote: His office defended the taxi rides, saying the 20-mile journey from City Hall to Hayes, West London, would have taken three hours using the Tube and buses.
If the journey is made by joe blogs commuter then why is it not suitable for Boris
