Clampdown on clamping firms ROAD TRAFFIC Mar 23, 2009 Independent Parking companies will be subject to strict new limits on the penalties and fees they can charge under Government plans to drive rogue operators out of business. Under a new code of practice from the Drivers and Vehicle Licensing Agency parking fees would be limited and a duty would be placed on operators to act "reasonably". ___________________________ |
