The proposed tariff review for Falkirk has been passed to the policy and resources committee for rubber-stamping. The changes, if passed, will see the return of tariff 3 (general tariff +50%) on 25th. and 26th. Dec. and 1st. and 2nd. Jan from 9pm-6pm. After a request from two of the Falkirk associations, representing the independent drivers, an increase of 2% will be added to the running mile. (from £1.55 to £1.58 ) This will still leave Falkirk 17th in the "league table" for Scottish LA's. This was the first review since Feb 2008.

The changes will take effect from midnight on 3rd August and will remain for 18 months.
