new york taxis have a yellow light at the back which when lit means cabi in trouble so the police know or other taxi drivers works well maybe should do it here

When we had radios we'd call a car 13 if there was trouble, it goes out on a data head now I believe activated by a button on the head unit, personally I have my own legal non lethal arsenal having almost coshed a runner some years ago, you'd be suprised what you can find in the chemist that does one thing on the tin and another in a cab.

We would probably get done for displaying a light of the wrong colour.

I think someone did invent something like a flashing light, and it was promoted in some of the trade mags.

But things that costs money seldom sell to the taxi/PH trade.

I think it's quite a good idea and providing the cost was not too great I'd certainly consider it. Do you think I could have one in pink

The advantage of this would mean that passing police and other taxis would also be aware of a situation and not just the drivers on the system that you work. Also not all taxis have radios so it would be helpful for them too :D

Not a bad idea except that it will probably stay on the car for ever as well.
