I can't believe it, I went down to the rank this morning to see one of the local taxi drivers about a problem with his car. I had a similar problem with my car and thought I could sort his for him. I asked where he was only to be told that he went to Stansted airport on Wednesday and collapsed in the terminal and died. To say that I am shocked is an understatement. aparently he can be seen on the cctv parking his car, getting out for a ciggarette and then going into the terminal. Next thing an ambulance pulls up and they bring him out on a stretcher. He was pronounced dead in the ambulance. They don't yet know what caused his death.
He will be missed.

Heart attack, and prepare for more, we've had one last week, luckily he's still about, but he is one that always takes £300 per night but never seems to have his payin on Monday's, I've seen it quite a few times before, including two while ranked up, one being a very good mate of mine, hard times accelerate HA's in our trade.

Indeed but you have to ask the question about his health and how many hours a week he was working?

We've got a driver round our way who's a heart attack waiting to happen, he sleeps in his car when he's finished his shift, he's back on the road after a few hours sleep in the local supermarket car park, I'm sure he's got that sleep apnea.

A few months ago I was behind him at a level crossing waiting for a train to come through, he was front of the que near the barriers, the train came through the barriers went up but the traffic wasn't moving. The driver had dropped off.   Questions have got to be asked as to how many hours drivers are working?

He smokes, he frequents the local kebab houses like they are going out of fashion. If anything does happen to him I just hope he's got no passengers in the car at the same time.

I think you might have hit the nail on it's head.

It's a shame some poorly drivers don't look for help earlier on, but try and keep their illnesses away from the powers that be.

Yes you could lose you license, or have it suspended for a while, but being dead doesn't pay the bills.

The post mortem revealed that the driver died from a shortage of oxygen getting into his blood due to smoking. So listen up you all.
GIVE IT UP NOW!
The funeral is tomorrow and a convoy of taxis will follow the hearse from the church to the crematorium.
