Private Hire are not allowed to pickup/drop off Disabled/Elderly customers in Bus Lanes - this blatant discrimination by the Greater Manchester Councils has to stop.

We ask all Private Hire drivers in Greater Manchester to stand up and be counted, join one of the convoy's starting on 4th August from Manchester City Football Club car park 2 at 12.00 midday, other convoys will run every tue 11th Salford, 18th Wigan (check www.gmpha.co.uk) for other areas and dates.

For full campaign history and updates google my name derek brocklehurst

I wish you well.

Where I work any licensed PH or taxi from anywhere in the UK can use the bus lanes.

Which makes your council's position an utter joke, in that you can use other council's bus lanes, yet not your own. [-(

If I ever get another job down your way, I'll be sure to use them.

Where I work anyone who completes the Knowledge and invests in a WAV is more than welcome to use London's Bus lanes every day.

No hinderence from the authoritys at all.

Our 'PH' have difficulty driving on the correct side of the road, never mind knowing where they are going.
