Taxi driver denies sex assault

A TAXI driver has pleaded not guilty at St Helens Magistrates’ Court to sexually assaulting a woman.
Muzaffar Nazish (43), from Alpine Close in Old Eccleston, denied the charge of the alleged indecent assault on Forshaw Avenue, Thatto Heath on Sunday, June 28.
He was remanded on bail under the conditions that he must not drive any vehicle displaying a taxi plate or marked as a black cab.
Nazish is due to appear back at St Helens Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 24.
