http://www.thecourier.co.uk/output/2009 ... 1633t0.asp

I fell off the chair at this one....only statements from The Keystone Cops
(Tayside Police) and Dundee (We could'nt run a bath, let alone a City) council were missing..

Street cars are taxis who do not work from a office. They normally work the ranks or train station. They are all licensed and the drivers are all licensed .They are owned by individuals

Its actually 3 or more Blood,

I am sure I read somewhere in the information that sub offices will no longer be allowed, unless they are directly linked to the main office, so accurate records can be kept, , so you could be right Tone no more clipboard johnny's at fat Sam's :D

I had to laugh at this comment.

Doug Martin of Tay Taxis wrote:
“What is going to happen if a customer has a problem with a street car as these cars are not covered by the new legislation? "

Does he not realise the cabs are already licensed?
The new law is for unlicensed operations like his.

Doug Martin of Tay Taxis wrote:
"Maybe it’s time the council made it part of the trade’s conditions that all taxis and private hire cars must work from an office.”

Oh you'd just love that now, wouldn't you?

Tay Taxis survives on revenue from black market Taxis !! The office is riddled with Hired Plates..

Sorry Tone ! but the DTA condone and represent Hired Plates..

And as for Dundee Private Hire !! They operate the biggest PH scam on the U.K. mainland !! Block booking my ar$e...

All the above are fact and un-challengeable !

Be interesting to see what happens at 12.01am on Monday when the new legislation comes into force and the first punter from Fat Sam's/Liquid opens a door of a PH sitting in the yard..All details correct and shown on car data head and logged at base ??? I think not...

As for the Keystone Cops..." Don't bother me with your pish son, just let them quickly empty the area..quicker they do that, quicker we get back to our cuppa and bacon butties " will be the reply to any Bona fide Cabbie questioning them .. ](*,)
