There was a E7 parked at SGS (Tottenham) yesterday (Friday)

Unplated, and brand new.

Movement at last?

Some of the trade mags are also reporting stories along the line of its a done deal, and Gerry Facena will go all the way again if need be with TFL.

Sounds good for GBC and some choice for me in 2010.

The Vito M8 interests me, anyone got one?

I'll second that ..... absolutely loads of different types of purpose built taxis at the show.

Ricoh Arena Coventry, ½ a mile from J3 M6. The show is usually in the last week of May.

I've never been to one of those shows, little point up until now.

I guess I'll be taking a trip in May, it's not too far from North Herts.

You might have to afford one of those nasty WAV one day Skippy.

But just think, like all other quality controls, there may just be less Taxis in front of you at the new Railway Stn rank in 20??.

Initially I was very against this 10 year age limit Boris has been talking about for London, but more and more I'm coming around to the idea.

My spy tells me the very same E7 was at Penton Street today in order for senior people at the PCO to view it.

I'm not getting my hopes up just yet as we've been through all of this before a few years ago, and the only concession that came out of that 'review' was sliding doors.

No, a lad I know who's based on the Tout Squad there told me.

Still, at least they're not rejecting it outright. I guess they too will be waiting on any appeal on the Lund case.

The Vito M8 is a fabulous bit of kit(when not on fire :D )
I have had my second one 9 weeks now and it drives like a dream.Did Heathrow up to Toyota(Derbyshire) in 2 hours dead last week fully loaded.
The customers love the smooth ride and for the driver, you honestly don't know you've done a shift. There is so much space in the drivers compartment,it's fantastic.
I am getting around 28mpg out of it.Auto,by the way.
I am not really into motors as such but I LOVE this vehicle.
5***** recommended.
Steve

28mpg is a lot better than a TX....and I really ain't hanging around.I have got a pick up at Southampton Docks in the morning so will check it after to see if it's altered yet.
Incidently,it's my first time down there, any tips on the route down from Derby?
Regards
Steve

It will get better as its run in, try keeping it at a steady 55 to 60 and you may see 40 mpg
