Word on the rank is that from April the 1st, those with double plates will no longer be allowed to work in other zones, the second plate they received must be removed from the vehicle and returned to the council for a refund

![]() Why wouldn't the owner split the plates onto two vehicles before they had to hand one of the plates back? Or has someone 'April Fooled' Mr Skippy41 almost a week early? |

Theres just not the work for two vehicles...so one plate on two different vehicles would reduce your profitablity by around 50%...where as two plates on one vehicle could increase its profitablity by around 25%..seeeeeeemple! |

Apparently its the council thats doing it as the one that come here dont know there way about and the council have had complaints of some of them over charging There are 4 or 5 from Peebleshire 1 from Roxburghshire but he lives in langholm and 1 in Berwickshire and they all head for Selkirkshire on a weekend
