All of BAA's airports are open. The volcanic ash cloud coming from Iceland continues to cause occasional problems and passengers are therefore advised to check their airline website for the latest travel information.

Dropped someone off at Gatwick today and she said that she had been told the airport was closing at 18.00pm.

According to the BBC Manchester and Birmingham are close till 1.00am tomorrow.

Got a few years more of this.

Still it might help out the home grown tourist trade. :D

Aberdeen Airport is closed until 13:00 today, Monday 17 May, following advice from NATS. This is due to an area of high density volcanic ash affecting local airspace. Passengers due to fly today should contact their airline before travelling to the airport.

We thank you passengers for their patience during this latest period of disruption.
