A complaint will be made concerning the mass holding of Private hire plates by LIMITED companies. The mass holding of licences provide an unfair advantage as far competition goes, mass holding allows a competitive advantage which is seen as unfair within competition law, price fixing is not allowed and if proved such companies are found guilty of price fixng such companies face hefty fines.

As many complaints as possible please if you know of any company who holds a significant amount of Private hire licences and are in your inividual opinion guilty of price fixing.

There is Multi licence holders in the black cab trade but i don't know of any that are price fixing.

Mass holding of licences also denies individuals working with such company's no right's as self employed people should have especially over how much they earn or what tarrif they work under.
