Of course it doesn't. But using a word like "childcare" is supposed to make us think it does.

The reason the cops are pushing this, aided and abetted by MacAskill, is merely because they can't control it. And the system likes to control.

I don't have thugs coming to me asking for protection money. I doubt they would ever be bothered. I warrant there has been no public complaint about any of these alleged "crime lords". The public isn't bothered. It's only political. And the concern of a political process that doesn't care about the ordinary working man, which sees him as just canon fodder to be controlled.

Perhaps there is an argument that says that if the "crime lords" are brought into the business community they would recognise the potential to make more profit by being legit rather than not.

I can' think of a single cop who has helped me. So why should I concern myself with their pretendy public service here?

Careers were made by the wholly disproportionate treatment of the Krays. But what was achieved? Do I care that some towrag who probably deserved killing got killed? All that was lost was an instrument of control. Nothing else changed. No crime reduction. Just more of the same, the faces were different.

But some cops got promoted.

It's all bollocks.

Anyway, after the Megrahi debacle, MacAskill is gonna be history. He is a scumbag. The SNP are fascist scumbags.

BTW Let's hope they have the balls to sue for defamation, eh In the hope that they do, I repeat what I said. Consider it done.

It may not affect us directly, but, I'm sure it affects somebody. Does it not bother you that some business maybe run by criminals? Making more money off the backs of average Joe Bloggs? Not always paying their taxes or contributing to society? Some of these criminals trade in the misery of drugs and launder their money through 'legit' businesses. They send people into schools to sell their wares, does this not bother you?

We realise that now that you have snuggled up to certain people a ecph, you are afraid to say too much agaist criminals.

But the way you suggest that criminals should be left in peace by the police to get on with their dodgy business is just ridiculous.

Maybe you havn't been approached for protection money, but you can be sure others have.
If the criminals are not clamped down on now, maybe next year they will be approaching you.

To say that the general public don't care about drug dealers and gangsters is stupid and you know it.

If you are afraid to say anything against certain people, then perhaps you should not comment at all.

But you have to expect that kind of thing, don't you?
