Post subject:  falkirk council online survey

Our LO has commissioned an online survey to allow the taxi/ph using public to put their views across. The local newsletter Falkirk Council News (posted through every door in the district) carried the story on P3 (not online as yet)

The survey will cover:

customer service

availability of taxis

taxi ranks

types of taxi

costs

The local community councils, disability groups, businesses and taxi card users are being approached directly.

The taxi trade through the forum meetings is also contributing to the review.

The survey can be accessed here http://www.falkirk.gov.uk/home.aspx

Unfortunately I can no longer access the page, as my wife completed it last night. IIRC questions included:

How often do you use Taxis/PH?

How do you get a taxi? Pre-book, from a rank, flag one in street

Do you have any problems with Taxi/PH in your area?

Any views on the ranks? Size, position etc.

Any views on the cost of taxis/PH?

It's being run by a company called Survey Monkey. If I can get the full transcript I'll post it on this thread later.

I think there needs to be an opportunity for the travelling public who do not go online to give an opinion
