One driver last week had his case against him for hiring a plate thrown out by the council because the cabs officers from tayside police did not do their job properly ,they did not have enough evidence to convince the committee that he was hiring a plate.
The taxi trade will bare the cost of the cabs officers once again making a balls of it, the driver was awarded in the region 0f £4000 pounds to cover his legal costs.

Until the cabs officers get their fingers out of the arses and properly investigate this illegally activity we are not going to eradicate the hiring of plates :x

If they had asked to see books like they done to me they would probably haved saved the trade £4000 the quicker we get rid of the two numpties the better :D

Now if you had posted it this way we would have understood it better

Dundee council is making a purge on owners hiring out taxi plates, this is illegal and anyone caught doing it will be given a smack on the wrists :D

Your point? My grandmother was a Scot so I have a little interest. Apart from that I thought the rumour about the Scots being tight was just that, aparently not eh :wink:
