Tuesday 21 September 2010

Waterloo was filled with smoke and the smell of burning paint on Tuesday afternoon when a London black cab caught fire at Waterloo Station.

Fire crews from Southwark, Dowgate and Soho tackled the blaze on the Upper Taxi Road at Waterloo Station.

Bus services on routes 211 and 507 were affected by the closure of the road, and the station's taxi rank was cleared of vehicles and people.

Looking at the grille, it was a TX2.

If you look at the front you will find its a TX4 the grill is still partly intact above the front bumper
look where the lights where and you will see that the front panel that holds the grill sweeps toward the front end

However much we all want it to be a TX4, I still think it's a 2. The front indicator lens is visibly rectangular and set in to the front bumper. On the 4 they're round. Also no rear headrests to the rear, although they could have been incinerated.

i would say tx2 because of the indicators

I don't think it really matters cos it's burnt now and I don't think that has anything to do with the turning circle either. Can't be good for Lti whatever model it is

I may be wrong but take a look at this picture. It is a TX4 at the front and I am guessing a TX2 behind.

If so then the picture of the burned out car is more like the back one.

Cannot believe it. Manganese Bronze only lost 1.25 pence (per share) today after this news. How can they still be so lucky. They should be finished.

Stick to saloons, then you may stand half a chance of convincing others you know what the f' you're talking about.

Thousands of cars / lorrys / buses / vans of various brands go up in flames every year at the side of the road, taxi's do too.

Thats why we pay for insurance.
