Two men charged over taxi robbery
Two men were in court this week charged with robbing a taxi driver at gunpoint in Langley.
Ishmail Khan, 19, of Richmond Crescent, Slough, and 22-year-old Elias Hooti, of Oatlands Drive, Slough, are charged with one count of robbery and possession of a firearm.
Khan appeared at Slough Magistrates' Court on Monday while Hooti appeared on Wednesday.
Both have been remanded in prison to appear before Reading Crown Court on December 30.
The charges relate to an incident in Parsons Road, Langley, shortly before 9pm on Friday when a Slough taxi driver in his 30s was threatened with a firearm and robbed of his belongings.
A 17-year-old was also arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail until October 17 pending further enquiries.
