I am going to take skippys advice and lose some weight.I have just spent 2 days in hospital with a heart scare i have been giving the all clear but been told to take it easy and lose some weight something that skippy has been saying for a while.
I have also been told to take things easy so will not be continuing my efforts to try and make the taxi trade in Dundee better, over the last few months i think i have become more and more frustrated with the situation and i have realised over the last few days that my body does not cope well with stress. When i wrote my wee saying at the bottom of my posts i done it tongue in cheek i will have to review my thinking.

Well make sure you do, young man. I know too many taxi drivers given the same type of advice, who chose to ignore it, only to end up off the road for a lot longer than a couple of days. (some permanently, like your sig)

Take it easy and put your feet up everyday after work and learn the art of total relaxation at least once a week and don't forget to walk somewhere regularly. Glad to hear you're ok tho :D

They said i had a paroxysmal atrial fibrillation which is a irregular heart beat but thankfully it corrected its self without and medication. After tests and a CT scan they also found out my heart is on the right hand side of my chest (weird) and because of a defect in my diaphragm that my stomach is sitting up in my chest cavity which has pushed my heart over.Something i was born with. Alls working well though and they said that i might get this from time to time but it is more of a side effect rather than a problem.
I got a wake up call so some big changes to be made sorry taxi trade the jobs just not worth it.

Glad to here your OK Tone,
Right get yourself down to a slimming world group, get your starting weight, then get some sponsorship forms printed and all donations can go to the next kids outing
SWMBO, was a size 22, she is now a size 10, after 2 years of being with them, yes Toots she made her goal :D
Don't worry its not all rabbit food, as some of the meals she comes to the table with are bigger than mine.
If you like curry's get yourself a tin of curry powder and mix it with your mince

Exercise and healthy eating is the key here mate. Taxi driving is a killer, before you know it you've gone from a 36 waist up to a 44 waist and the gut is hanging over from eating on the go and no excersise.

Eat 7 small meals a day and excersise on a daily basis. Start with a short brisk walk with a little increase everyday. Before you know it you'll be running instead of walking.

If you want an eating plan PM me and with your weight and height and I'll rattle you one up mate.

I intend to die at some point, preferably sooner rather than later, I dont really want to get too old, I'd rather have people remember me as young than old.
