There's enough cabs in London to block-in all 100 of these so called free cabs.

That will get Virgin publicity; the wrong sort of publicity!!

Another example of the cab trade being crapped on from a great height!!

They could have Mclaren F1's, they still wouldnt go any faster round westminster, i got stuck there once with a 7.5tonner and almost gave in and walked home, it woulda been faster

they couldnt have used most of those supercars in the hot weather as crawling in traffic would see em overheat, especially anything italian...

Virgin do everything illegal like advertise 50meg broadband when speeds top only 30meg.

100meg broadband will never happen at high peak times like 5pm until 10pm when the kids are home from school etc etc.

I think John Mason (PCO supremo) was inundated with cabbies moaning about this stunt.

I did speak with Barry Hooper from the LTDA that evening it was posted on here, like someone has suggested above, it sees to be a bit of a publicity stunt. There's forever something going on in London like this, rickshaw taxi 'scares' are one of the more popular ones with people claiming to be starting up free services etc.

I never saw any out that day. They were well hidden if they were.
