I had a student tonight, and she was telling me that she lives about 6 to 7 miles outside kirkaldy in Fife, and that taxis there regulatory charge her £30 for the journey, all because they have to drive a quarter of a mile up a farm track, I told her the fare should be around £14 to £15 for after midnight or even before that time. She said they bump the meter up just in case of any damage to the cabs I informed her they could not do that by law and they can only charge the meter rate as per the tariff sheet I told her to take the drivers badge number and the cab number and report them to the council |

I advised him to get a cab home from Kings Cross next time.. |
