Yesterday an old lady was charged £9 for minimum fare job of £2.85 because of the conditions.

If it was off the rank, then it was illegal.

If it was in a ph and more than their published rate, then it was illegal.

That said I wouldn't work in the deep snow if the minimum fare was £50.

Oh, and how on earth did you get a fare tariff in 5ps. :roll:

Ours is the same T1 £1.80 flag-fall, 10p increments. T2 £2.25 flag-fall, 10p increments.

Its more than busy enough with the weather like this our call volume is double normal it should be possible to make loads of money in these conditions without charging more ! tips are much better too
