Taxi strike leaves boyband singer stranded in Coventry
A SINGER in a 90s boy band got caught up in Coventry’s taxi strike at the weekend – leaving him stranded in the city ahead of a signing.
Joshua Barnett had two top ten hits with the band Triple 8 and is on the comeback trail with new group General Direction.
But on Sunday his sense of direction was tested to the limit when the band got stuck.
“We’re totally stranded,” he told the Telegraph. “We’ve got to be at a signing at the Hilton in Walsgrave and we don’t know what to do.
