Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council revokes taxi licences

Four taxi drivers [sic] have had their licences revoked after being found guilty of breaching council rules.

The men, whose names have not been released by the council, were found guilty of plying for hire (picking passengers up from pick-up points that are not prearranged) at a meeting on Monday of the council’s Hackney Carriage Committee.

Another driver had his licence revoked for two weeks.
