How many cabs were there in Dundee before delimitation and what year did delimitation occur? CC |

507 with about 15 private hire and removed the cap in 2003 In September the council said that there was 576 and we reckon that another 30 have gone on since then, we have also 150 to 200 private hire, i am awaiting a foi to get the exact numbers so will let the forum know the true numbers when i get them . |

So 15 private hire they remove cap and now 200 hmmm jasper and bawhead said that restriction causes ph to grow yet when capped 15 |

So an increase of 69 in 7 years, then 30+ in 5 months.  The rush is caused by capping rumours. There will be more as drivers and speculators try to get in before the door is closed. WAV avoidance. We had 3 before the WAV rules came in and over 300 now. And that's with almost all PH drivers having a taxi driver's licence. |

nah rush is not caused by rumours ffs it caused by the F**king councill and the d**khead who decided these piles of sh*t pugs on and for that waste of a life cab inspector correct me if am wrong tone.

How many taxi badge holders is there in Dundee at this present time 1. 1511 How many Hackney taxi licences is there in Dundee at the present time 2. 603 How many taxi licences are wheelchair accesible licences 3. 269 How many Hackney taxi licenses are able to put on saloons 4. 334 How many private hire operators licenses is there in dundee at the present time 5. 171 How many rank spaces is there in Dundee 6. This information is held in length rather than vehicle capacity, taking the total length of all Taxi Rank Clearway bays within the Dundee area and assuming that each taxi being roughly 5m in length (and assuming taxi's park behind one another at regular intervals), Dundee has 718m of Taxi Rank Clearway (143 spaces) which are operational 24 hours, and 65m (13 spaces) of Taxi Rank Clearway which are operational 11pm-6am. In addition to the above figures, Dundee City Council is proposing to increase the 24 hour spaces by 29m (6 spaces) and the 11pm-6am spaces by 22m (4 spaces). |

But maybe it'll be 20% CC It isn't 44.61% its actually 53.72% the reason for this figure is the number can only be based on the last surveyed number of 507, this makes the portion of wheelchair vehicles over 50% of the required number of taxis to meet Dundee needs, we think it is going to be the highest the equality act will go for, if they go for a higher figure then you discriminate in the opposite direction. |
