This is one Englishman who won't give a f*cking penny ;)

If I did give a penny, it would be towards the other two people who actually turned up and attended the meeting the day Garry Thompson was supposed to......but as you know, Garry and his gay keyboard warrior mate chose to write to the committee......well not write exactly....probably email....because that would save the price of a stamp?

Who actually gives a flying fig about the sad w*nker anyway?

So long as he doesn't gob on by chips, we'll get on fine :o

That aside.....TDO has in my view made a grevious error in making this fund........and even that aside.....I'd like to thank those two for a really good golf trip ;D

Quite appropriate for the fanny forum methinks CC.

You're one helluva "journalist"

Had to laff at Travis Bickle - the fat one , who should be given the KB, claiming that TTF is the bastion of free speech

And a further laff at Frank Lay bemoaning that his bile has been bared fron TDO. You couldn't make it up.

Personally I wouldn't bar him. The drivel they post must of some comfort to councils up and down the land that the quality of opposition to the ay councils shaft our trade is so poor that they cn continue with impunity.

These Uncle Toms are the very reason why our trade is held back from real enterprise.

BTW CC perhaps you could the the numpty on the forum who said that if the Skull had Kowtowed to the committee he would still have had his licence, that he doesn't understand what this is about.

Skull didn't want to keep his licence. In case you hadn't noticed it isn't worht having anyway - the game is completely fecked.

25% of my take is now spent on fuel alone. 40% on rental. That leaves 35% of very little which doesn't cover living expenses. Hey we've now gone backwards, drivers are working for a third of the clock.

BTW This is what Stationtone wants to tahe Dundee cabbies back to. Working for a third of the clock.

Cabbies are now tripping over cabbies in the job centre. Cabbies going to tell the tale of woe to the taxman are being told not to bother, they've heard it all already.

Nope Skull is not about keeping a worthless licence, he is about challenging the discriminatory and unfair procedures adopted by Edinburgh's fascist council.

BTW The situation remains. You are called before the cab inspector, you don't have to say anything to him to corroborate any allegtion. If you do say anything Frank Smith will use it against you. That's how he is programmed to operate.

Tuesday is the last day for Skull to be appealing under the CGSA.

Skull will not be appealing uner the CGSA.

There are bigger fish to fry.

Uncle Tom of the NTA shows his true colours once again. If roles were reversed, I would have no hesitation in giving him 100% support. I think this proves his position is about sucking up to those who lord it over people regardless of how they abuse a mans rights. Uncle Tom's (you know who) drag us all down, join the NTA, you've got to be having a laugh. . .

I never saw the thread about using members names and I don't think Jim did either. :-|

Ah the title

I don't think you should base a respected (regardless of what you think) national association on one person, that's very narrow minded of you. As said in the other post if you don't do anything like join an association or a union you will not be heard by those that make the difference

Like it or not, CC is the most visible face of the NTA, especially in Scotland, and his opinions will be linked with the organisation he is a major part of.

I would agree, but CC, is not the exception but the rule when it comes to the trades Uncle Tom's.

The thread title doesn't name anyone. Only time will tell.

However in relation to the issue at hand, there are a number of people in this trade, possible most of them, that I wouldn't stick my hand in my pocket for.

But I don't go on sites saying I wont donate to them, I just don't donate to them.

However if people need to express how big they are elsewhere, then so be it. But I think it's a bit sad.

This however, is far more believable...removing your blinkers and looking at the whole picture and then producing facts and actual evidence before going off on one of your rants...well...it's never been a strong point of either you or Jim.

It's also a little sad that people are claiming at least, to have been banned for simply questioning 'recent policy/procedure' of TDO, although someone may be able to correct claims such as Frank's on the 'other forum'.

Skull and Jasbar are (probably rightly) allowed their free speech, even if many disagree, but why then can Frank or even Torn Casualty not allowed a second (or possibly third ) chance? It could appear to only be 'working one way', so to speak.

Now why would I stand against CC for a position in a supposedly national organisation which doesn't operate in Scotland?
In fact the only interest the NTA seem to have up here is CC's.

People claim a lot of things, it doesn't mean they are right.

However if you wish to believe what you read on forums, then, once again, so be it.

I feel it's a bit rich folks moaning about free speech on the same scottish forum that doesn't afford the same to Mr Skull and Mr Jasbar.

We don't need a Skull fund because my licence has been “suspended”. What we need is a fund to take councils' to task through a Judicial Review of their Procedures.

I would put my hand in my pocket because not doing so fails to benefit anyone who might find themselves in a similar position to myself and that includes CC. In short, we all lose out because council's will continue to abuse taxi driver rights with impunity, until they are challenged through the courts.

Collectively, it would cost each of us buttons and TDO could become a force for real change.

Look at it this way, what have you got to lose?

Would you be up for it Sussex? :-|
