Luton cabbie hurt when a brick is thrown at windscreen

25 April 2011

A taxi driver has had glass fragments removed from his eyes after a brick was thrown at his black cab in a Bedfordshire town.

The 23-year-old was driving on Crawley Green Road in Luton in the early hours of Sunday morning when the brick shattered his windscreen.

He was taken by ambulance to hospital but is now recovering at home.

Police want to speak to a woman passenger who he had just dropped off, and also to any other witnesses.

F8cking ar*ehole!

If the driver had lost his sight, he would have been permanently disabled from the taxi trade and many other jobs.
