the following accident happened last week in edinburgh... strange, and worrying accident, not very clear what had happened. Police in Edinburgh are appealing for help in tracing a taxi driver after a woman was found with a head injury. Officers were called to Warrender Park Crescent at 1:50am on Thursday following reports of a woman lying unconscious in the street. Police are keen to speak to a taxi driver thought to have dropped her off in the area before she sustained her injury. any information from both private hire and black cab drivers... |

People suffer head injuries every day. And if, a taxi driver is “thought to have dropped her off in the area before she sustained her injury”. The chances are he would know nothing about the “accident” because if he did, he would've been the first to report it. I can't see any taxi driver leaving a young female lying unconscious in the street with a head injury, unless of course he caused it. Then it wouldn't be an accident. In which case he'll be keeping his head down. Your details of this “accident” are somewhat sparse.
