. . . an annual mileage limitation?

Because one particular insurance provider has introduced such a limitation.

Have a look at your insurance policy schedule (not the policy book), the bit of paper that comes with your insurance certificate.

Would that be all mileage or just mileage as hire & reward?

This particular insurance provider uses at least two brokers in Birmingham.

One broker has a total mileage limit, while the other has a mileage limit on Hire and Reward and a seperate one on SDP, combining the two as a total mileage limit.

That said the greedy b******s will do anything to avoid paying, and hiding that particular get out is par for the course.

I shall have to keep my eye open for that one as I do an awful lot of mileage. Do you happen to know what the mileage figures are?

I'm not aware of any companies imposing a mileage limit. We deal with LV, TFP Schemes/Aviva, KGM, Service, Tradex and Sabre and none of those do. Insurance factory are owned by Markerstudy and they might.

Have you looked VERY closely at your insurance policy schedule?

Bottom left-hand corner of the 'Vehicle Details' section.

Depends if the laptop guy changes all three mileage readings in the vehicle and not just the speedo reading.
