Addison Lee launches private jet service

Minicab firm Addison Lee has launched a private jet service, enabling customers to be airborne within 90 minutes of booking.

Minicab company Addison Lee has launched a new private jet service, Addison Lee Private Jets, allowing customers to book private jet charters alongside chauffeured vehicles.

Addison Lee is offering the service through a partnership with PrivateFly.com, and will see customers given free executive transfers to and from private London airfields for all charter flights booked via the service.

"We regularly transport clients to private jet or helicopter airfields in and around London, so helping them choose their air transport is a logical next step," says Addison Lee chairman and founder John Griffin.

Addison Lee Private Jets will enable customers to access instant cost estimates for private jet hire from a choice of over 7,000 accredited aircraft and operators, who bid to provide the most competitive offer.

Customers using the service will be able to be airborne within as little as 90 minutes from booking.

Addison Lee was founded by John Griffin in 1975, and now operates a fleet of nearly 3,000 vehicles in and around London.
