I was tipped off today that the council are considering an age limit of nine years for PH and twelve for WAV taxis. Age is just a number, isn't it? |

Obviously a 9yr old ph is far more dangerous to the public than a 12yr old hackney. |

Even a standard MOT these days check out the state of bodywork don't they? The County Council won't allow any vehicle over ten years old to operate contract work. Except for buses, of course. |

They do like their buses, even though they spew out more black smoke than a burning tyre dump. |
