I learnt today that Pat has sadly passed away.

Pat was a stalwart of the Manchester Cab trade for many years, he gave the Manchester trade strength through his contacts politically.

I knew Pat Connor and worked with him both on and off the ranks...He was a huge credit to the trade the likes of who we don't see today...
He worked tirelessly and without favour to any.
He had tremendous knowledge of the trade and could see things impartially and also what mattered most to the trade.
Pat Connor will be missed by those who knew him.
