New scheme offers free taxi rides

Up to 100 people living in a rural part of South Yorkshire are to get free taxi rides.
They will be given vouchers worth £100 to spend on getting to leisure centres and colleges or visiting relatives.

Dont knock it mate.
If money is coming out of someones pot and its going to end up in ours.
Then that will do for me.
I wish more councils did it.

I suppose someone has to pay in the first place. It's just that in the end the money is coming to us.

Very rare indeed, and I wish more councils would follow.
