ignoring tel's drunken rantings I don't see this making much difference as they still have to comply with licensing regs in the UK. Uber seem to constantly be battling in the courts in the belief that sooner or later they can win enough battles to thrive. I just hope their investors are aware just how many court cases there are |

Quote: However, the ruling could “undermine the much-needed reform of outdated laws which prevent millions of Europeans from accessing a reliable ride at the tap of a button,” according to Uber. That may have been the case 3/4 years ago, it most certainly isn't now. Uber's IT is no longer better than most of the other data systems, and inferior to one or two. |

I just hope their investors are aware just how many court cases there are I am of the belief the one thing Uber do in the UK is not comply to licensing regulations, they are doing what happened in the 1st place, licensed private hire operators creating this problem by trying to circumnavigate licensing laws to meet their own ends (greed for money). Now they are shouting from the rooftops to get uber stopped. Do not get me wrong I think uber are undesirables, not fit and proper persons and should not be licensed anywhere, when Jeremy is elected they will be high on the list of tax evaders who will be clobbered along with a few more off shore companies. |

How bizarre! You say that UBER should not be licensed anywhere because they are not fit and proper but then your party wont ban them they will just tax them.

Where do you get the party will not ban them from, you never know they might to correct a Tory wrong. |
