A taxi driver was pulled over by police officers – who found a video playing on his dashboard-mounted phone while a mother and toddler were on board.

The unidentified motorist was fined £50 after he was stopped in Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, West Midlands Police confirmed.

The details emerged when an officer tweeted a video of the phone showing the device inside a holder and video being played.

The officer, @Bhamtaxicop, wrote: “Horrified to see this professional driver using this with a mother and toddler on board.”

Should have been done for driving without due care and attention, I would be interested to know what he was done for and why didn't the paper name him, didn't want to offend a certain ethnic group I suspect.
