'Cabbie' handed £1,115 bill for driving unlicensed taxi

Razi Ali, of Holderness Road, east Hull, was fined £225, and must pay £860 costs, for knowingly driving a private hire vehicle, a Toyota Yaris, in a controlled district without a licence. He must pay a £30 surcharge.

Surely the owner of the PH vehicle must be brought to book for
allowing a non licensed driver to drive his car.
