I was at Heathrow todat,T 3,and must confess that how BLATANT the TOUTS were. As the people came out at arrivals the TOUTS were calling out to them in a lanuage that can only be described loosely as Swaheeley, did they want a CAB, One of the 4 TOUTS let himself down and called out HEY SISTER DO YOU WANT A TAXI. Needless to say it was quite obvious to everyone what they was doing, and the fact that NOTHING was being done about it. |

Take no notice of him Fletch. It's his usual 2am ramble. 
As for the authorities turning a blind eye to these activities, well is anyone really surprised? 
However bearing in mind how much the black cabs pay to ply at Heathrow, you would have thought that either the authorities, or the black cab lads themselves would do something about it. But they don't, as usual many talk a good talk, but that's where it ends. |

Well Fletch, you are clearly more observant than me. I am at Heathrow 4 or 5 times a week and I have never seen such blatant touting. Saying that T3 is a completely different world to 1,2 and 4. So what is 'do you want a taxi' in swahili? |

I don't know how often you go to Terminal 3 Guest, but just to correct an obvious error in your knowledge: Terminal 3 is not part of Britain. T3 is a cosmopolitan society of its own. Not even the staff in T3 speak English. Try making yourself understood in English at the Harry Ramsden fish and chip bar - it's quite difficult. Unless of course, you are fluent in eastern languages, chinese dialects, arabic, or sign language. The place is a khara hole. |
