This article is six months old but I posted it because its the first time I've seen any reference to the members fee. It wont surprise anyone to learn that the members fee is a nominal one pound. Obviously the reason why it is only one pound is because of the nature of the business. .......................................................................................... The Herald (Glasgow) February 16, 2006 HEADLINE: Pink taxis offer woman's touch Pink cabs with women-only drivers are due to arrive on Glasgow's streets this summer to help protect women from bogus taxi drivers. The city is expected to be the first in Scotland to host the Pink Ladies private hire service, launched south of the border in June last year by mothers Tina Dutton and Andrea Winders after they saw a TV programme about an illegal taxi driver who killed a woman passenger. A seminar on franchises is being held on February 27 at Allied Cars in Possilpark. Customers pay GBP1 to join. .......................................................... |

Do you think the service could attract butch lesbians and would this perhaps make female passengers vulnerable to their advances? Or are all lesbians passive creatures who don't stoop to intimidating the more vulnerable females in our society? Regards JD |
