Post subject:  Unplated, disqualified, coked-up driver/car seized in Ascot
Came across this via Taxi Point - quite a short post on Twitter by the Surrey 'road safety partnership', but lots of stuff going on with regard to this vehicle and driver :-o


Surrey road safety partnership wrote:
Late last night, #VanguardRST officers stopped this vehicle just over the border in Ascot. Police were acting on intelligence suggesting the driver was disqualified.

The driver was found to be:

• Disqualified
• Uninsured
• Positive for cocaine, with suspected Class A drugs inside the vehicle.

The driver is suspected to have been operating an unlicensed taxi service and inquiries are ongoing.

Driver arrested. Vehicle seized.

good here's hoping this driver is Permanently removed from the trade :shock:

I think the implication is that he was never in it.
