Police officers are appealing for witnesses following a racially aggravated assault in Billing Road, Northampton.
The incident happened near to the Palmerston Road and Cliftonville junction on Saturday, May 23, between 1.45am and 2am, when a man was seen assaulting a taxi driver.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. Information can also be submitted online at www.northants.police.uk/RO.

A 23-year-old man from Daventry arrested in connection with the incident has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
