HEADLINE: Taxi man charged with attending terror 'school'
MANCHESTER A man has been charged with attending a Pakistani terrorist training camp and detailing information about possible terrorist targets on computer.
Taxi driver Habib Ahmed, 26, was arrested last month at his home in Elmfield Street, Cheetham Hill.
He was due to appear before London magistrates today to face two charges under the Terrorism Act.
The first charge is that between January, 2002 and August, 2006, he "collected or made a record of information, namely electronic records relating to potential terrorist targets and other information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism".
He is also charged with attending a terrorist training camp in Pakistan where weapons instruction was given between April, 2006, and June, 2006.
A woman who was arrested on Tuesday in Radcliffe continues to be questioned by police in Manchester.
