Eh met a cabby once,when eh came doon tae Lundin,fae up the northern regions.
His name wiz mate.
He worked lang oors
Started at 8am,breakfast at 9am,elevenses at guess,yip 11am,lunch
12 noon -2pm,efternoon tea at 3pm,finished work at 5pm.
Told me he had a mate in the private hire trade,who did the same hours,but took home £20-00 a day less.
Says his name was Sussex from Sussex.
Said sussy earned £800 per week.
Some money doon sooth eh.

now she alledges that her mum got from a cab and was attacked, and the cabbie saw this and turned round and sped off, how does she know ? she was not there!

no one with a modicome of sense could believe that an attacker would stricke when anyone was around.

Why is it everyone that has a pop at the London Cab trade is full of [edited by admin]?

If some of the black cab chaps took their heads out of their bums, they would see that they aren't as popular as they keep on telling one another.

The PH trade has thrived in London, alas the touts have thrived in London. The black cab trade has stagnated.

No, not at all.

In some respects you have to take your hats off to them for doing the ridiculously long knowledge.

However just sitting back and letting the PH trade take over, without doing much about it, is a big mistake for them. Although , in my opinion, not a big mistake for customers.
