HEADLINE: Soldiers 'assault Cyprus taxi driver'

Two British soldiers have been charged with assaulting a taxi driver after a night out in Cyprus, the Ministry of Defence confirmed yesterday.

Cypriot police named the soldiers as Jonathan Hart, 22, and Chris Douglas, 27, and said they were charged with assault, driving a car without permission of the owner and causing an accident.

If anyone is interested a more detailed story was carried in yesterday's Times - apparently the soldiers were on de-stress leave. :?
