one looks scruffy, the other two look very good. My mum-in-law who uses taxi's a lot say's the scruffy looking driver's tend to have scruffy and dirtier cars. There is a husband & Wife team with HC in Rochdale (1 car) they are an example of how good a busy vehicle can be kept. They get many repeat bookings for return trips etc. So making the effort does improve revenue |

How can that Carl Larson state that the drivers are self employed when he owns the cars nice one for the tax man and the vat and the minimum wage department to get the teeth into |

I think if those nice folks at the inland revenue had a bit more time on their hands then they could get millions back in tax from folks like that mini-baron.

The people that drive my cars are self employed. They rent the vehicle from me. |

If the only work they do is from you, then a good case could be made that you pay their national insurance.

The people that drive my cars are self employed. They rent the vehicle from me. So you will also be paying the minimum wage as well as NI. The tax and VAT are quit clear in this as you own all the equipment, you are Solly responsible for all deductions and wages, as your driver are employees |
