ignorance is indeed a worldwide epidemic !!!
i pick up this guy from dallas going to his travel inn from the train station, he tells me he's in dundee to watch the open then totally lowers the conversation by asking " is it safe to use the tap water to brush your teeth ? " to which i reply " it's only the best drinking water in the world mate " " sheeete, you can drink the water here " he says.."yep"..." good,cause we won't need to stop for some bottled then "

I would guess he had to take whatever hotel had rooms. They will all have been booked out for months in advance

i'm just back from turkey and every waiter and porter told me that the english are the worst tippers and ignorant out of all visitors..maybe the yanks are ignorant...but i ask you this...when was the last time you heard of of american or scottish national being arrested on foreign soil for drunken,loud-mouthed,mob handed behaviour :?: :?: :?:

When a scot is arrested in scotland he is been arrested on foreign soil as remember that soil is really English soil we are just letting you use it. :D

95% of my punters are 100% english, and they give me no problems.

But to be fair I don't get any grief from the other 5% either. :?
