Get a copy of the CGSA with the relevant part highlighted regarding PH vehicles sent to the chief inspector along with a letter of complaint, he must then investigate it. Try to post any documents that state what the council said here asap |

This would look good in the national press, Tayside chief inspector and Dundee city council allow PH to break the law |

I remember that when the company started and they only had PH there was a bit of stink about it in the press, with accusations of touting and the like. However, it turned out that all they were doing was sitting on the streets waiting for work, but because there hadn't been much PH in Dundee for a good few years it was a bit of a novel idea for cars to be sitting on the streets while waiting for work. I'm not saying that the company is whiter than white - and the situation at Fat Sams seems a bit dodgy - but I think things may be blown out of proportion a bit. I'm surprised there's been nothing in the Courier or Tele about it, or have I missed something? |

Of course, if PH are on the streets they may be considered to be plying for hire, but it depends on the circumstances, but maybe a few of the legal eagles on here could advise our point out the relevant case law. Incidentally, I thought PH in Dundee couldn't advertise, but the cars have 20 30 20 emblazoned on the doors? |
