http://www.hummerzine.co.uk/ Even if this one is deemed to be legal, does that mean the rest aren't?

http://www.hummerzine.co.uk/ I suppose this guy can now advertise as the only legal 16 seater hire or reward limo in the country. Regards JD |

I am 100% behind operators of stretch limousines, so long as they are new and good quality vehicles. If anyone is going to go to the expense of purchasing a £115,000 car, then why not get it plated and advertise it as a licensed vehicle. Firms operating cars such as this new Hummer should be given credit - they are in a very different league to the fellas with their 10+ year old Lincolns. |

Shame that most of the folks buying the £100,000+ motors don't invest a bob or two in this licensing lark.

In short you can do what you dam well like all the time there isn't a law saying you can't. Council however can only do what the law says they can. If your LO and his licensing colleagues don't like the law as it is, then they best take it out on the government, not on drivers. |

But there are laws on hire and reward, and operating vehicles. It's just the limo/hummer mob don't want to adhere to them. |
